Joshua Buatsi (20-1, 13 KOs) and Willy Hutchinson (20-2, 14 KOs) will fight for the vacant interim WBC light-heavyweight title at the AO Arena in Manchester, England on Saturday, November 7.
The fight can be exclusively seen globally in over 200 countries on DAZN.
This is a rematch from the September 2024 showdown between the pair, which Buatsi won via split decision to claim the interim WBO light-heavyweight championship.
His run as interim champion proved to be brief though, as the 33-year-old lost the title in his first defence in February of last year – suffering a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Callum Smith.
Buatsi rebounded quickly from the first loss of his professional career though, as he beat Zach Parker via majority decision last November to win a minor championship and keep himself in the world title hunt.
He will now look to strengthen his calls for a world title fight in 2027, and he will look to do it against a man he has already beaten once before.
That defeat just over two years ago was only the second loss of Hutchinson’s career, and since then he has rebounded with victories over Mark Jeffers and Ezra Taylor to stay near the top of the light-heavyweight tree.
He now gets the chance to gain revenge and boost his own chances of fighting for a world title in the near future, but can the 28-year-old Scot get the job done in Manchester, or will Buatsi get the better of him once again to leave with the interim WBC belt?
You can see for yourself thanks to DAZN’s global live streaming service, which is broadcasting the fight live from Manchester.
