Orlando Magic Form
Orlando head north of the border looking to build on their first win of the 2026/27 season.
The Magic opened with back-to-back games at home, but failed to make the most of that as they dropped both outings.
They were beaten 132-125 by Atlanta in the series opener, and were then held to under 100 points as they lost 115-93 to Minnesota.
Orlando finally got off the mark last Sunday though, as they went out on the road to down defending champions New York, 111-102.
Franz Wagner led the charge with 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Desmond Bane put up 22 points and six rebounds.
Toronto Raptors Form
Toronto return home looking to bounce back from the loss at Minnesota – their first defeat of the campaign.
The Raptors made a dominant start to the season as they blew out Chicago in the opener at home, 135-92.
They then followed that up on the road as they travelled to Washington to take down the Wizards, 112-102.
Toronto failed to make it three-in-a-row though, as their perfect start was ended by a 117-94 road defeat at the hands of the Timberwolves.
Ja’Kobe Walter led the Raptors in scoring with 22 points, while RJ Barrett contributed 20 points in the loss.
Verdict
Toronto lost last time out, but they are back home and we expect to see an immediate response.
Orlando have been struggling offensively, and their problems have only worsened now that Suggs has joined Banchero on the sidelines.
