Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders Predictions & Picks

Washington are tipped to cover as they beat their NFC East rivals in primetime.

The Commanders can key in on Philadelphia’s run game, stifling their offense, while on the opposite side of the football Jayden Daniels and the offense put up enough points to deliver the cover.
  • Philadelphia Eagles are on a 5-game losing run
  • Philadelphia Eagles are 1-6-0 ATS this season
  • The Under cashed in Philadelphia’s 2 previous road defeats

Head To Head

  • Washington Commanders lead the all-time series 91-89-6
  • Philadelphia Eagles won 24-22 when the two teams last met on September 13

Philadelphia Eagles Form

Philadelphia head to Washington on a five-game losing skid that has all-but ended their season heading into November.

The Eagles opened with a 24-22 win over Washington at home, and backed that up with a 24-20 victory at Tennessee a week later.

However, their form has nose-dived since the 27-7 defeat in Chicago, which was followed by a 24-20 loss at home to the Los Angeles Rams.

Philadelphia then fell to a walk-off field goal in London, losing 19-17 to Jacksonville, and following that game it was announced that Jalen Hurts was done for the season.

Since then the Eagles have lost back-to-back home games, losing 25-14 to Carolina and 38-21 to Dallas.

Washington Commanders Form

Washington come into this key NFC East clash looking to end a three-game winless run that has left them 1-4-1.

The Commanders kicked off the campaign with back-to-back road games against division opponents, and were beaten 24-22 in Philadelphia and 37-20 at Dallas.

They finally got off the mark in Week 3 with a 33-31 upset of Seattle at home, but they have not won since.

Washington’s next home outing saw them lose 30-13 to Indianapolis, and they then had to settle for a 27-27 tie with the New York Giants after botching clock management in overtime.

The Commanders’ winless run then reached three games last weekend, as they were beaten 23-17 at San Francisco.

Verdict

Washington are in bad form right now, but Philadelphia are in even worse shape and are on the brink of waving the white flag on their season.

The Commanders should have beaten the Giants and they lost by only one score to the Niners, so we are confident that they can finally end their drought at the Eagles expense.
