Atlanta United have struggled for any kind of momentum this season after winning just eight of their opening 29 matches.
Inter Miami cruised past New York City in a 2-0 win in their last match as they secured successive wins to nil in the MLS.

Across their last 10 meetings, Miami have won four times, United have won four matches and two games have ended as draws.

Atlanta United currently languish six points short of FC Cincinnati in ninth with the season ebbing away.
The likelihood of Atlanta securing the wins and points they need to notch a top-nine spot is slim but not impossible. However, with four wins, two draws, eight defeats and 14 points, Atlanta have the worst home record in the Eastern Conference.
They were better in their last outing, but a 3-0 win over a Montreal side that sit below them in the standings is hardly the statement result they need. While United will hope to utilise playing at home to their advantage, I am backing against them in this one as they are beaten by the better side.

Inter Miami knew they needed a shot in the arm after a five-game winless run had seen the side draw four matches and lose to Columbus Crew.
Sitting in second in the Eastern Conference, Miami roared back to winning ways with a 4-0 win over DC United before they downed New York City in a 2-0 win. While the jury is still out on whether or not Miami have truly rekindled their form, I am backing them against their misfiring opponent.
Miami have the best away record in the Eastern Conference after winning eight of their 14 outings. With a pair of wins to nil coming in their last two, I am backing Miami to win once again.
Verdict
I am backing Inter Miami to secure a statement win as they hand Atlanta a 16th defeat of the season.
