  • The Valspar Championship takes place between March 16-19
  • The tournament takes place at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, Palm Habour, Florida
  • Our four selections who can win on Sunday
A host of the world's best players take to the greens at Innisbrook in the latest round of the PGA Tour, with the Valspar Championship on the line. Who will win the final leg of the Florida Swing this weekend?

Sam Burns returns to defend his title after defeating David Riley in a playoff last year and will attempt to win the tournament for the third year running.

Past and present major winners who will tee off on the Copperhead course this weekend include Matt Fitzpatrick, Keegan Bradley, Stewart Cink, Jason Dufner, Lucas Glover, Justin Rose, Webb Simpson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Jimmy Walker, Bubba Watson, and Gary Woodland.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Jordan Spieth

Jordan Spieth has had a solid start to the season on the PGA Tour by finishing T52 at the CJ Cup, 15th at the Hero World Challenge, T13 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, MC at the Sony Open in Hawaii, and T63 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

He found better form by placing T6 at the WM Phoenix Open, MC at the Genesis Invitational, T4 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and T19 at the Players Championship this past weekend.

The 29-year-old has a good record at the Valspar Championship. He placed in T20 in 2014, victory in 2015, T18 in 2016, and MC in 2018.

Spieth has been thereabouts in recent tournaments and has the form to secure his second Valspar Championship in his career this weekend.

Justin Rose

Justin Rose has shown a resurgence on the PGA Tour this season and has a solid record at this tournament.

The 42-year-old missed the cut at the World Wide Technology Championship before finding some decent form on the golf course by placing T29 at the RSM Classic, T26 at the American Express, and T18 at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Rose then bounced back to winning ways on the PGA Tour after not lifting a trophy since 2019 by claiming the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

He missed the cut in his subsequent two starts at the Genesis Invitational and Arnold Palmer Invitational before producing an excellent performance at the recent Players Championship by finishing T6 overall.

The Englishman has a long history at the Valspar Championship, with his best results being T14 in 2008, T13 in 2010, T5 in 2011, T8 in 2014, and T5 in 2018. His only two blemishes have been missing the cut in 2015 and 2021.

Rose brings excellent form into this tournament and will fancy his chances to win his second PGA Tour title of the season.

Keegan Bradley

Keegan Bradley has been in excellent touch on the PGA Tour since October last year, producing top results.

The American placed T5 at the Sanderson Farms Championship and won the ZOZO Championship before finishing T21 at the CJ Cup, 34th at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, MC at the Sony Open in Hawaii, 2nd at the Farmers Insurance Open, T20 at the Phoenix Open, MC at the Genesis Invitational, T10 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and MC at the Players Championship this past weekend.

The 36-year-old last five appearances at the Valspar Championship have been poor to excellent, with results of T58 in 2017, T31 in 2018, MC in 2019, 2nd in 2021, and MC in 2022.

Bradley has gone close to winning this event in the past and will have a chance to lift the trophy come Sunday.

Justin Suh

Justin Suh had a poor to mediocre beginning to the new PGA Tour season by missing the cut in his first three tournaments before finding consistency by finishing T29 at the CJ Cup, T48 at the World Wide Technology Championship, T47 at the Houston Open, 66th at the RSM Classic, T41 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, and T54 at the American Express.

The 25-year-old has rediscovered his touch lately by placing T20 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T40 at the Genesis Invitational, T5 at the Honda Classic, T24 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and T6 at the Players Championship.

The American is making his debut at the Copperhead golf course this weekend.

Suh has had two top-ten finishes in his last three starts and could surprise the others with the victory at Innisbrook.

Verdict

Spieth can convert his current form into his second victory at Innisbrook this weekend.

Rose has been playing well this season and will be in the mix around the greens at Copperhead.

Bradley will look to go one better than his best result at this tournament and win the Valspar Championship this year.

Suh has the form to upstage the others with victory in Florida this weekend.
