The Marlins then went out on the road to Colorado and sandwiched a 9-8 win over the Rockies with 3-2 and 8-2 defeats, before winning the series finale 12-8.

San Francisco enter this series on an inconsistent run of form, having gone 6-6 in their previous 12 games.
The Giants began this sequence by snapping a four-game skid with a 6-0 shutout victory when they hosted Atlanta.
They then bounced back from a 2-0 defeat in Oakland with a 4-2 win over A’s, and built on that victory with 5-3 and 4-1 home wins over the Chicago White Sox.
San Francisco missed out on the series sweep, losing the final meeting 6-2, before travelling to Seattle where they lost 6-5 and 4-3 either side of a 4-3 victory over the Mariners.
The Giants then made a winning start to the series in Milwaukee, downing the Brewers 5-4, only to lose the next two meetings, 5-3 and 6-0.
Verdict
San Francisco have repeatedly got the better of Miami in recent seasons, and that trend is unlikely to change.
Starter Blake Snell has given up very little in recent times, so we expect him to set the Giants on their way to victory.
