The Padres kicked off this good sequence with a 7-3 victory over Seattle, and then bounced back from a 5-2 defeat to the Mariners with a three-game sweep of San Francisco.
They beat the 5-0, 8-0 and 4-3, before returning home for a three-game series with Houston.
San Diego took two of the three meetings with the Astros, winning 3-1 and 4-0 either side of a 4-3 defeat.
The Padres then entered the Chicago White Sox and were able to sweep the visitors in a three-game series, winning 3-2, 6-2 and 4-2.
Los Angeles Dodgers Form
Los Angeles came into this series having regained some momentum with six wins in their last eight games.
The Dodgers lost four times in five games earlier this month, losing two meetings with both the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta.
They did spark their turnaround against the Braves though, as they took the final two games, 9-2 and 9-0, to split that four-game series.
Los Angeles then travelled to Miami and made a disappointing start to the series, but they did rebound from a, 11-9 defeat with 8-4 and 20-4 wins over the Marlins.
The Dodgers then headed back home for a three-game showdown with Colorado, sandwiching a 6-3 loss to the Rockies with 6-4 and 6-5 victories.
Verdict
Walker Buehler has dominated San Diego in his career, while Joe Musgrove has a horrible record when facing LA, so we are leaning towards the Dodgers here.
