Josh Emmett is enjoying the best run of form of his UFC career heading into Saturday night’s fight.
Emmett is riding a four-game win streak that started with a third-round knockout of Michael Johnson in March 2019.
He followed that up by knocking out Mirsad Bektic in the first round, and them made it three-in-a-row by besting Shane Burgos over three rounds.
The 37-year-old American’s career was put on hold following that win though, with a knee injury sidelining him for over a year.
He did return to action last December though, picking up from where he left off.
Emmett beat Dan Ige by decision to take his professional record to 17-2, with six wins coming via knockout and two by submission.
Of his two career losses, Emmet has been stopped by strikes once and dropped a decision once.
