Ciryl Gane vs Serghei Spivac Preview & Picks
Ciryl Gane is tipped to win this main event fight via knockout.

He is backed to keep the fight standing, break down Serghei Spivac, and then finish him with strikes.
- Ciryl Gane is 11-0 in non-title fights
- 3 of Gane’s last 5 UFC wins have come via KO/TKO
- Serghei Spivac has 2 KO/TKO defeats on his record
Ciryl Gane Form
Ciryl Gane is the #2 heavyweight contender with a professional record of 11-2 (5 KOs, 3 Subs).
Gane debuted in the UFC in 2019 with a 3-0 professional record, and wasted little time in climbing the ladder.
He submitted Raphael Pessoa and Don’Tale Mayes in his first two fights, before earning a decision win over Tanner Boser.
The 33-year-old Frenchman then recorded the biggest win of his career to that point, knocking out former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos in the second round.
Gane then went on to earn decision wins against Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Alexander Volkov, before knocking out Derrick Lewis in the third round to win the interim heavyweight title.
‘Bon Gamin’ failed to become undisputed champion though, losing by decision to Francis Ngannou.
He rebounded with a third-round knockout of Tai Tuivasa, only to be submitted in the first round of his title fight with Jon Jones back in March.
Serghei Spivac Form
Serghei Spivac is the #7 ranked heavyweight contender with a professional record of 16-3 (7 KOs, 7 Subs).
Spivac joined the UFC in 2019 and got off to a slow start, sandwiching a submission win against Tai Tuivasa with a TKO loss to Walt Harris and decision defeat to Marcin Tybura.
He got his career on track after that though, claiming a majority decision win against Carlos Felipe.
That was followed by a second round knockout of Jared Vanderaa and a unanimous decision win over Aleksei Oleinik.
Spivac’s rise was brought to a halt by Tom Aspinall though, as he was knocked out in the opening round.
The 28-year-old Moldovan has rebounded well though, reeling off three consecutive wins to climb into the top 10.
He knocked out Greg Hardy in the first round and Augusto Sakai in the second, before submitting Derrick Lewis in the first round back in February.
Verdict
Ciryl Gane’s route to victory is the same that has earned him two title fights.
He is backed to use his superior striking technique to control the fight and take out Serghei Spivac.
