Jessica Andrade is a former women’s strawweight champion with a 24-9 professional MMA record.
Nine of her victories have come via KO/TKO, with another eight coming by way of submission.
‘Bate Estaca’ won the strawweight title by knocking out Rose Namajuns in the second round at UFC 237 in May 2019.
She lost it in her first defence though, getting knocked out by Zhang Weili in the first round, and she then dropped a split decision to Namajunas in their rematch.
Andrade bounced back to win her flyweight debut, knocking out Katlyn Chookagian in the first round.
That win earned the Brazilian a shot at the title, but she came up short as she was stopped by strikes in the second round by Valentina Shevchenko.
Andrade has rebounded well from that disappointment though, winning three consecutive fights.
She knocked out Cynthia Calvillo in the first round before moving back to strawweight to submit Amanda Lemos in the first.
The Brazilian then moved back to flyweight at the start of 2023 to beat Lauren Murphy by unanimous decision.
Erin Blanchfield Form
Erin Blanchfield has compiled a 10-1 record and has gone 4-0 since signing with the UFC in 2021.
Blanchfield spent the early stages of her career fighting for Invicta FC and back-to-back ‘performance of the night wins’ earned her a deal with the UFC.
She knocked out Victoria Leonardo in the second round and beat Brogan Walker-Sanchez by decision in those two fights.
‘Cold Blooded’ kept her run going when she debuted in the UFC, beating Sarah Alpar by unanimous decision in her first outing.
She then backed that up with a unanimous decision success against Miranda Maverick, before finally sealing her first stoppage win under the UFC banner.
In her first outing of 2022, Blanchfield submitted JJ Aldrich with a guillotine choke in the first round.
The American fighter than made it back-to-back submission wins in November of last year, stopping Molly McCann with a kimura in the first round.
