The Mavericks were beaten 114-113 at home by Phoenix, before heading out on the road to lose 122-120 in Denver and 120-117 at Golden State.

The Jazz endured a miserable start to the season as they lost their first six games, including a 110-102 defeat in Dallas on October 28.
They finally ended their wait for a win on November 4 as they travelled to Chicago to beat the Bulls 135-126, but they failed to back that up.
Utah moved on to Milwaukee for a 123-100 blowout defeat in Milwaukee, only to respond with a 111-110 win in San Antonio to close out that road trip.
However, the Jazz again failed to string together wins as they returned home to lose 120-112 to Phoenix.

Dallas go into this matchup cold, but a meeting with Utah could be perfect timing for them.
