The Rockets went into Christmas on a three-game win streak and made it four-in-a-row when they beat New Orleans 128-111 on the road.
Their run was halted by a 113-112 defeat to Minnesota, and they failed to issue an immediate response as they were then beaten 104-100 by Miami.
Houston did avoid a third straight loss, beating Dallas 110-99, only to then lose 109-86 at the hands of Boston.
The Rockets have not lost since though, backing up a 119-115 home win over the Los Angeles Lakers with a 135-112 road win in Washington.
Memphis Grizzlies Form
Memphis go into this game looking to build some momentum, having registered their first win of 2025 last time out.
The Grizzlies began their post-Christmas Day schedule with back-to-back wins, beating Toronto 155-126 at home and New Orleans 132-124 on the road.
They then fell 130-106 at Oklahoma City, only to bounce back immediately with a 117-112 success in Phoenix.
Memphis failed to win their final two games on that road trip though, as they were beaten 138-133 in Sacramento and 121-113 at Golden State.
The Grizzlies did avoid a third straight loss however, as they returned home to down Dallas 119-104.
Verdict
Houston are on a roll on the road and have covered in four of the previous five meetings with Memphis.
Add in the Grizzlies' long injury report and this is a more than winnable game for the Rockets.
