Minnesota arrive having begun this road trip with back-to-back defeats to fall to 10-7.
The Timberwolves enjoyed a four-game win streak earlier this month, which started with a 137-97 blowout of Utah at home.
They backed that up with road wins against Sacramento, 144-117, and the Jazz, 120-113, before heading back home to down the Kings, 124-110.
Minnesota’s run was ended by a 123-112 loss to Denver, but they rallied to win the next two, beating Dallas 120-96 and Washington 120-108.
The Timberwolves have been unable to maintain their form on the road though, starting this trip with a 114-113 loss in Phoenix and a 117-112 overtime defeat at Sacramento.
Oklahoma City Thunder Form
Oklahoma City enter this matchup on a fantastic run of form, having now won each of their last nine games to reach 17-1.
The Thunder’s only defeat of the season so far came on November 5 when they fell 121-119 in Portland, and the response has been emphatic.
The defending champions rebounded to win 132-101 in Sacramento and 114-100 in Memphis, before heading back home to beat Golden State 126-102 and the Los Angeles Lakers 121-92.
Oklahoma City then beat Charlotte 109-106 and New Orleans 126-109 on their travels, and too their streak to seven games with a 113-99 home win over Sacramento.
The Thunder’s streak did not end there though, as they ended last week with a 144-122 blowout of Utah on the road and a 122-95 demolition of Portland at home.

Oklahoma City are on a dominant run and the last time these two teams met, in last season’s playoffs, the Thunder ran overt the Timberwolves.
