That low-scoring win and the injury to Travis cost them a playoff place, so they wrapped up the season with a 63-3 blowout defeat to Georgia in the Orange Bowl.

Georgia Tech come into the new season looking to improve on a 2023 campaign that saw them go 6-6 before winning a Bowl Game.
The Yellow Jackets opened up with a 39-34 defeat to Louisville and struggled for consistency the rest of the way.
They did record some notable victories however, snatching an improbable 23-20 victory at #17 Miami FL before beating #17 North Carolina 46-42 at home.
Georgia Tech ultimate went 5-3 in ACC conference play, and that meant they missed out on a place in the championship game.
Instead the Yellow Jackets brought the curtain down on their season with a 30-17 win over UCF in the Gasparilla Bowl.

Florida State have lost some notable players in the offseason, but they have recruited well.
