Pittsburgh then beat the two New York teams at home; the Jets 37-15 and the Giants 26-18; before downing Washington 28-27 on the road.
The Steelers made it five-in-a-row with an 18-16 win over AFC North rivals Baltimore, only to then suffer an upset defeat at the hands of another division rival, losing 24-19 to Cleveland.
Cincinnati Bengals Form
Cincinnati go into this matchup on the back of a couple of defeats that have left them with a 4-7 record.
The Bengals struggled early on as they lost their first three games of the season, before finally getting off the mark with a 34-24 win in Carolina.
They failed to back that up as they lost 41-38 in overtime against Baltimore, but they did rally to beat the New York Giants, 17-7, and Cleveland, 21-14, on the road.
Cincinnati failed to make it three-in-a-row, losing 37-17 to Philadelphia, only to rebound with a 41-24 victory over Las Vegas.
The Bengals have not won since though, heading out on the road for a 35-34 defeat to Baltimore and a 34-27 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers.
Verdict
The AFC North continues to produce upsets, so we are tempted by the free points here.
This Steelers defense is capable of making stops, unlike this bad Bengals unit, so we at the very least expect the visitors to push Cincinnati all the way.
