Toronto have been inconsistent in March so far, going 3-4 over the last seven games.
The Maple Leafs started the month with a 5-2 defeat at Edmonton, only to bounce back in Calgary with a 2-1 win.
They failed to build on that as they then lost 4-1 in Vancouver, but they again bounced back immediately, knocking off the Devils in New Jersey, 4-3.
Toronto backed that up with a 7-4 victory when they returned home to take on Edmonton.
