The Devils then sandwiched a 5-4 win in Detroit with home defeats to St Louis and Washington, losing 3-0 and 6-5.

New York go into this matchup looking to build on Saturday’s victory, which ended a five-game losing skid.
The Rangers enjoyed a three-game win streak in the middle of November, only to then cool off with a bunch of losses.
The bad run started on the road in Canada as they were beaten 3-2 by the Flames in Calgary and 6-2 by the Oilers in Edmonton.
New York then returned home for a 5-2 loss to St Louis, before heading back out on the road to lose 4-3 in Carolina and 3-1 at Philadelphia.
The Rangers did avoid a sixth consecutive defeat however, when they returned home to edge Montreal 4-3 over the weekend.
Verdict
New York have dominated New Jersey in recent times, but that trend could end here.
