Vancouver continue this road trip looking to build on the win in Ottawa that improved their record to 10-6-3.

The Canucks opened the season with three straight defeats, but responded to that early setback by winning seven of the next nine.

They failed to keep that momentum going though as they sandwiched a 3-1 victory over Calgary with defeats to Edmonton, 7-3, and the New York Islanders, 5-2.

Vancouver then failed to back up a 4-1 victory over Chicago as they lost 5-3 to Nashville and 4-3 to the New York Rangers at home.

The Canucks did avoid a third consecutive defeat however, starting this road trip with a 4-3 victory in Ottawa.

Boston Bruins Form

Boston return home having won back-to-back games to improve their regular season record to 10-9-3.

The Bruins struggled during the first few weeks of the season, losing seven of their first 11 games.

They started November strongly though, beating Philadelphia 3-0 and Seattle 2-0, before responding to a 4-0 loss in Toronto with a 4-3 overtime win against Calgary.

Boston then rebounded from a 3-2 overtime loss to Ottawa with a 3-2 victory in St Louis, but they failed to back that up as they lost 7-2 at Dallas, 3-2 (OT) to St Louis and 5-1 to Columbus.

The Bruins stopped the rot with a 1-0 win over Utah, and they then followed that up with a 2-1 victory in Detroit on Saturday.

Boston return home on the back of their second straight win and we are backing them to make it three-in-a-row.

It has been a long time since Vancouver won in Boston and when these two teams meet, whoever is hosting usually comes out on top.
