The Golden Knights began this sequence with a three-game win streak on the road, as they beat Ottawa 3-2, Montreal 6-2 and Philadelphia via a shootout.
They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 2-1 in Colorado, but they did rebound immediately to beat Winnipeg 4-3 at home.
Vegas then lost 6-0 when they hosted Utah, but they have not tasted defeat since that night.
The Golden Knights got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Edmonton, and then backed that up with a 4-1 win in Anaheim and a 3-2 home success against Dallas.
Winnipeg Jets Form
Winnipeg enter this matchup on the back of a blowout win over Boston, which was their third in their last four games.
The Jets have cooled off over the past few weeks and endured a season-worst losing skid between late November and early December.
They lost four consecutive games, starting with road defeats to Los Angeles, 4-1, Vegas, 4-3 and Dallas, 3-1.
Winnipeg then lost 4-1 at home to St Louis, before finally stopping the rot with back-to-back wins on the road, downing Buffalo 3-2 in overtime and Chicago 4-2 in regulation.
The Jets failed to make it three-in-a-row as they returned home to lose 4-1 to Columbus, but they did hit back immediately with the 8-1 demolition of Boston.
Verdict
Vegas have owned Winnipeg over the past couple of seasons and they are the team in better form.
That makes the Golden Knights a very appealing pick in the underdog role.
