Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) defends his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight titles against unbeaten former cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, September 25.

Joshua regained the world titles in December 2019 but has so far made just one defence of them, stopping Kubrat Pulev in December 2020. A blockbuster unification clash with Tyson Fury this summer was then scrapped, leaving the British heavyweight looking for a new opponent for 2021.

That opponent will be ex-cruiserweight kingpin Usyk. The Ukrainian stepped up to heavyweight after unifying the cruiserweight division in 2018, and he has so far gone 2-0 in the weight class, beating Chazz Witherspoon and Derek Chisora.

Usyk faces a huge step up in quality here though. Can he become the second man to dethrone Joshua or will AJ retain his world titles and stay on course for a unification clash with the winner of Fury-Wilder 3?
