This game is a makeup from the teams postponed Sept. 22 contest.

Chicago has been swinging the bat well recently, although the White Sox have struggled to score. The White Sox have hit Tigers pitching extremely well, averaging 5.5 runs while producing a .793 OPS. However, Keuchel is not in good form and has been awful on the road (5.90 ERA) and during day games (5.66 ERA). Keuchel is also 0-1 against the Tigers as he has permitted 11 runs and 23 hits in 15 innings.

Detroit has been playing well lately. The Tigers have been swinging the bats extremely well over the last seven games (.268) and they hit left-handed starters very well (.252). Their pitching staff has been excellent over the last couple of weeks as well.

Manning, who has been pretty good for most of the season with an occasional awful performance, has pitched better at home this season. He was pretty good against the White Sox the last time out, although he has allowed Chicago to hit .355 against him.
