Verdict

Atlanta could all but officially clinch the division with a win tonight. The Braves have dominated the Phillies at home this year and their bullpen has been magnificent over the last couple of weeks. Fried enters the game in excellent form and while he has struggled against the Phillies this year, he has held them to a .184 batting average and .620 OPS over his career.

Meanwhile, Nola is not in good form and has struggled against the Braves, posting a 4.44 ERA as he has been prone to giving up the long ball (6) in four appearances. Nola also has pitched well on the road this year.
