Amanda Nunes Form

Amanda Nunes has won 12 straight fights and two UFC titles to establish herself as the best female fighter on the planet.

She became bantamweight champion in 2016 by making quick work of Miesha Tate in a submission win.

Nunes then knocked out Ronda Rousey in 48 seconds, bested Valentina Shevchenko over five rounds, and knocked out Raquel Pennington to retain that crown.

‘The Lioness’ registered the most spectacular win of her career after that, becoming the first female fighter to hold UFC titles in two different weight classes at the same time.

Nunes destroyed dominant featherweight wrecking ball Cris Cyborg in just 51 seconds to win the belt.

She returned to bantamweight to knock out Holly Holm and best Germaine de Randamie, before making her first defences of the featherweight crown.

Nunes beat Felicia Spencer over five rounds before submitting Megan Anderson in 123 seconds.

Those victories took Nunes’ professional record to 21-4, with 13 wins coming via KO/TKO and 4 by submission.

Julianna Pena Form

Julianna Pena appears to have benefited from Amanda Nunes cleaning out the bantamweight division.

Pena enjoyed a four-fight win streak between November 2013 and July 2016 that saw her earn notable wins over Jessica Eye and Cat Zingano.

That streak was halted though, by a second-round submission defeat to Valentina Shevchenko.

Pena took two years off after that loss to have a child, but she made a winning return to action in July 2019.

She beat Nicco Montano by decision but before she could gain any momentum, she was submitted by Germaine de Randamie in October of last year.

Pena again bounced back in January, submitting Sara McMann, and that win took her record to 10-4, with three wins coming via knockout and four via submission.
