Tsarukyan was handed a baptism of fire when he made his UFC debut against Islam Makhachev in April 2019.
The 25-year-old Armenian dropped a decision but earned plenty of plaudits in the defeat.
He rebounded quickly to beat Olivier Aubin-Mercier by unanimous decision for his first ever win inside the UFC’s Octagon.
Tsarukyan then followed that up a year later with a unanimous decision win against Davi Ramos.
He fought twice last year and continued his win streak with a decision win over Matt Frevola and a first-round knockout of Christos Giagos.
And in his sole outing of 2022 so far, back in February, Tsarukyan improved to 18-2 with a second-round knockout of Joel Alvarez.
Mateusz Gamrot Form
Mateusz Gamrot is on the brink of the lightweight division’s top 10 thanks to a three-fight win streak.
Gamrot signed with the UFC in 2020 after compiling a 17-0, 1 NC record on the European scene.
He made a disappointing debut though, dropping a split decision to Guram Kutateladze in a three-round fight.
The 31-year-old Polish lightweight bounced back in 2021 though, winning all three of his outings.
He first stopped Scott Holtzmann with strikes in the second round, before tapping out experienced veteran Jeremy Stephens in the first round of their bout.
Gamrot then took his win streak to three fights when he beat Carlos Diego Ferreira by TKO in the second round last December.
That victory left him with a 20-1 professional record, with one No Contest.
