Phoenix Suns at Milwaukee Bucks Predictions & Tips

Milwaukee can level the NBA Finals series with another home win in Game 4.

The Bucks bounced back from losing the first two games with a trademark strong home performance in Game 3.

Giannis Antetokounmpo put up huge numbers again as Milwaukee dominated inside the paint at both ends of the court.

If they can continue in this vein, they can take Game 4 and level up the series.

  • Milwaukee Bucks are 8-1 at home in the playoffs
  • Milwaukee Bucks have kept the opposition to 100 points or less in 6 of their 9 home games
  • Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo has 83 points & 25 rebounds in his last 2 games
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.2 points & 12.9 rebounds per game in the playoffs
  • The winning team has covered the spread in all 3 NBA Finals games so far

Head To Head

  • Phoenix Suns lead the all-time series 77-74
  • Milwaukee Bucks lead the all-time playoff series 3-2
  • Phoenix Suns lead the season series 4-1

Phoenix Suns Form & Team News

Phoenix took a commanding 2-0 lead in the playoffs with back-to-back wins on the home court.

Devin Booker matched his postseason average with 27 points, and Deandre Ayton was a force inside the paint with 22 points and 19 rebounds in Game 1.

The star of the show was Chris Paul though. Milwaukee found him unplayable as he poured in 32 points and dished out 9 assists in a 118-105 win for Phoenix.

The Suns then doubled their series lead in Game 2 as they broke the franchise record for three-point shooting, converting 20 of their 40 attempts.

Booker led the charge with 31 points, while Mikal Bridges put up 27 points and Chris Paul contributed 23 points and 8 assists, and that resulted in a 118-108 win.

However, they were brought back down to Earth with a bump in Game 3 in Milwaukee. Booker struggled badly with his accuracy as he scored just 10 points.

In fact, no Phoenix player hit the 20-point mark, resulting in a 120-100 blowout defeat.

The Suns will look to bounce back in Game 4 but they will have to do it without Dario Saric (knee).

Milwaukee Bucks Form & Team News

Milwaukee breathed new life into the NBA Championship quest with a huge Game 3 victory.

The Bucks had their backs against the wall on Sunday after losing the first two games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo made a surprise return for Game 1 but his 20 points and 17 rebounds could not prevent the Bucks from losing.

Khris Middleton put up 29 points in a strong personal showing, but Milwaukee struggled to cope with Chris Paul defensively and that resulted in a 118-105 defeat.

Middleton was nowhere near as effective in Game 2 and Jrue Holliday was again kept quiet, so a 118-108 defeat was no surprise.

There was some promising signs though, as Giannis racked up 42 points and 12 rebounds in that one, and he produced similar numbers in Game 3.

‘The Greek Freak’ racked up 41 points and 13 rebounds, while going 13/17 from the free throw line, and his outstanding performance inspired Milwaukee to a huge 120-100 win.

The Bucks will now look to level the series before heading back to Phoenix, and Giannis should be good to go as he appears to have fully overcome his knee problem.

Donte DiVincenzo (foot) will sit this one out though – he is done for the season.

Giannis is on fire and Milwaukee physically dominated Phoenix at the Forum in Game 3.

The Bucks are a completely different team at home than they are on the road, so we could see more of the same on Wednesday.
