The United States made a disappointing start to the Olympics as they lost to France.
Les Blues out-scored 25-11 in the third quarter and went on a 16-2 second half run to beat the Americans 83-76.
The USA hit back in Game 2 though, blowing out Iran 120-66.
Damian Lillard led the charge, sinking seven three-pointers as he put up 21 points and five assists in 23 minutes.
Devin Booker (16 points) and Jayson Tatum (14 points) also played their part in a much-needed win.

The Czech Republic got off to winning start in Tokyo thanks to a narrow 84-78 victory over Iran.
Patrik Auda, who plays in Japan, led the Czechs in scoring with 16 points, while Chicago Bulls bench player Tomas Satoransky notched eight rebounds and eight assists.
The Czechs failed to make it back-to-back wins though. They had no answer to Rudy Gobert and Evan Fournier as they fell to a 97-77 defeat.
They did see a couple of strong individual performances though.
Satoransky recorded a double double with 14 points and 10 assists, while Ondrej Balvin put up 18 points and Auda chipped in with 14.

Verdict
The Czechs will be more of a challenge for the USA than Iran, but that is not saying a great deal.
They were handily dealt with by France last time out, so while this may not be a 54-point blow-out for the Americans, we could see them win comfortably and cover.
