Donovan Mitchell lit up the Nuggets, racking up 31 points, while Rudy Gobert had 18 points and 19 rebounds in a double double in his first game back after clearing COVID Protocols.
Mitchell leads the team in scoring, averaging 25.7 points per game to go along with 5.1 assists per outing.
Gobert has now recorded a double double in each of his last 15 appearances, and his now averaging 15.5 points and 15.1 rebounds per game.
Los Angeles Lakers Form
Los Angeles are once again on a losing run after making a promising start to 2022.
The Lakers closed out 2021 with a win over Portland and that sparked a four-game win streak for LA.
Their momentum stalled though with a 127-119 defeat at home to Memphis, and they have now lost three straight.
Los Angeles were beaten 125-116 in Sacramento last Wednesday night before being destroyed 133-96 in Denver on Saturday.
The Lakers were without Anthony Davis for that loss and he remains sidelined with a sprained MCL.
They do have LeBron James though and he has been racking up the points since the start of December, averaging 30.7 points per game.
James needs more help from Russell Westbrook, who has only had only one double double in his last five games and has struggled with his shooting.
