Las Vegas finished the regular season with four straight wins to snatch a place in the Wildcard round.
The Raiders’ season appeared to be over when they lost five of their first six games after their bye week at the end of October.
A 16-14 win in Cleveland in late December kept their hopes alive, and it proved to be the start of a win streak.
Vegas followed up that victory with a 17-13 win at home to Denver, and then built on that with a 23-20 upset of the Colts in Indianapolis.
They then sealed a place in the postseason in dramatic fashion with a 35-32 overtime win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Daniel Carlson converted a 47-yard field goal as time expired in OT, sending the Raiders into the postseason and ending LA’s season in the process.
QB Derek Carr ended the regular season 428/626 for 4,804 yards, 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Hunter Renfrow was his favorite target as the pair hooked up for 1,038 passing yards and nine touchdowns.
In the backfield, Josh Jacobs rushed for 872 yards and nine touchdowns. He also had 348 yards receiving.
Las Vegas need improvement defensively after finishing the regular season 26th in the league in points allowed per game (25.8).
Cincinnati Bengals Form
Cincinnati ended the regular season with a defeat but had already done enough to win the AFC North.
The Bengals won five of their eight games after the bye to secure their first division title and trip to the postseason since 2015.
They went into the bye on the back of a couple of defeats, but made a winning return to action with a 32-13 victory in Las Vegas.
They then blew out Pittsburgh 41-10 before falling to the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers.
Cincinnati responded to those setbacks in impressive fashion though, following up a narrow win in Denver with a 41-21 demolition of Baltimore and 34-31 victory over Kansas City.
They were beaten 21-16 in Cleveland last weekend, but rested their star players for that game.
QB Joe Burrow ended the regular season 366/520 for 4,611 yards, 34 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also rushed for 118 yards and a couple of scores.
The Bengals had two 1,000-yard receivers as Ja’Marr Chase went for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns, and Tee Higgins went for 1,091 yards and six TDs.
Running back Joe Mixon rushed for 1,205 yards and 13 TDs. He also had 314 yards receiving and three further scores.
The defense allowed 22.1 points per game to rank 17th in the league, and 350.8 yards per game to rank 18th.
