Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New England Patriots Picks & Betting Tips
Tom Brady can lead Tampa Bay to victory in his first return to the Gillette Stadium.
New England’s defense has put up good numbers so far, but they are yet to be truly challenged.
They will be challenged by the in-form G.O.A.T. on Sunday though and he could pick the Patriots apart.
The Bucs can bounce back from last week’s defeat by winning and covering in Foxborough.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 13-10 ATS since the start of last season
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 4-1-0 ATS in non-conference games since the start of last season

- Tampa Bay Buccaneers are averaging a league-best 34.3 points per game
- New England Patriots are averaging just 18.0 points per game

- New England Patriots won 19-14 when the teams last met in 2017
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Form
Tampa Bay are 2-1 after seeing their perfect start to the season come to an end last weekend.
The Buccaneers needed a last-gasp field goal to beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-29 in opening night.
They followed that up with a comfortable 48-25 win over Atlanta, but suffered their first defeat a week later.
The Bucs were beaten 34-24 by a Los Angeles Rams team who are a serious threat to their bid for back-to-back Super Bowl wins.
Tom Brady has already racked up 1,087 yards and 10 touchdowns through three games. He is 97/141 with two picks.
The Bucs are yet to get the ground game going, with no running back passing the 100-yard mark.
Chris Godwin and Mike Evans have been Brady’s favorite targets in the passing game. Godwin has 241 yards and two TDs off 25 catches, while Evans has turned 25 receptions in 205 yards and two scores.
The timeless combination of Brady to Rob Gronkowski has also been fruitful. ‘Gronk’ has four TDs.
Defensively the Bucs have failed to reach the heights of last season.
They are yet to give up a 100 yards rushing so they could force Mac Jones to try to beat them with his arm.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Injury Report

- TE Rob Gronkowski (ribs) - Doubtful
- LB Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder, hand) - Questionable

New England Patriots Form
New England have thrown rookie quarterback Mac Jones in at the deep end and he has led them to a 1-2 start.
The Patriots opened with a narrow 17-16 defeat at home to Miami before rebounding with a 25-6 win over the New York Jets.
The defense had its worst day so far in terms of yards given up, but they did allow just six points and they did force four takeaways.
New England failed to build on that that though, losing 28-13 at home to New Orleans last weekend.
Mac Jones has gone 81/120 for 737 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in his first three starts.
RBs Damien Harris and James White have been his most productive weapons, combining for 324 yards from scrimmage and a couple of TDs.
Jakobi Meyers has been his favorite target in the passing game, putting up 176 yards off 298 catches.
The defense has been strong in the secondary, giving up less than 200 yards passing per game. They are yet to face a QB of Brady’s calibre though.

Verdict
Tom Brady is showing no signs of slowing down. He has been firing on all cylinders so far this season.
That spells trouble for New England. The Patriots could get a taste of the medicine they dished out for almost two decades.
Tampa Bay can win and cover as they bounce back from the loss to LA.
