I'm taking the Anaheim Ducks moneyline at home against Boston on Friday, Oct. 16, at 10 p.m. ET. I'm adding Beckett Sennecke anytime goalscorer.
Let's talk about Tuesday. We were up 2-1 after the first period on Calgary, a team that hadn't won a game all season. Then we gave up three straight and lost 4-2 at home, I can tell you my TV remote needs a spa day after the pain it went through after that finish.
Now Boston walks into Honda Center on a three-game win streak, and the book has this as basically a coin flip. A coin flip at home, after a loss like that? I'll take that bet every time.

- Boston has scored 5 or more in three straight games, and I'm choosing not to process that
- Sennecke has 4 goals in 6 games, two of them on the power play

Head to Head
Last November, we beat Boston 4-3, and I celebrated like it was the glory days of 2007. Any win over a Boston team feels personal to me. I've always hated that city's jerseys and I'm not about to start trusting them now.
Boston Bruins Form
I'll admit it, Boston looks good. Jeremy Swayman has been a wall at .930, Fraser Minten is scoring, and Charlie McAvoy is back from his suspension. David Pastrnak is also good friends with our goalie, Lukas Dostal, from Team Czechia. That's a nice story. I hope Dostal robs him blind.
Here's what the nerds miss, two of those three wins came against Philadelphia and San Jose. My abuela could hang five on those teams.
Anaheim Ducks Form
Losing Granlund hurts. He's our captain and the heartbeat of this group and Ryan Poehling is out for weeks too, so we're thin down the middle.
But Cutter Gauthier was a full go at practice Thursday, and the kids are flying. Sennecke plays big minutes, gets time on the top power play and shoots like he's mad at the net. With Granlund out, the puck is going to find him even more.
Verdict
Tuesday was embarrassing, and good teams answer embarrassing. Give me the Ducks on the moneyline and Sennecke to light the lamp.
