The Celtics were beaten 121-113 in the ‘Motor City’ but bounced back immediately to beat defending champions 107-103 in their home opener.
The backed that up with a 134-99 demolition of Chicago, before battling past Brooklyn in overtime, winning 125-124.
Boston then played host to Chicago for the second time in less than a week, and again got the better of the Bulls with a 125-111 victory.
The Celtics’ win streak reach five games on Sunday, as they travelled to Orlando to take down the Magic 108-97.

Houston come into this matchup having rebounded from their first loss of the season with a victory that propelled them to 6-1.
The Rockets opened the season with a 127-110 blowout of Dallas, and backed that up on the road as they beat San Antonio 114-110 and Atlanta 121-114.
They then returned home to beat the Hawks 120-110, before heading to Milwaukee to down the Bucks, 132-100.
Houston’s perfect start was finally ended in Dallas as they lost 116-111 to the Mavericks, but they bounced back quickly.
The Rockets returned to winning ways on Saturday as they beat Oklahoma City 119-98.
