Kentucky at Tennessee Predictions & Picks

Kentucky are tipped to cover as a touchdown underdog on the road.

The Wildcats have been on a fantastic run this season, and this consistent offense is capable of putting up enough points to at least keep within one score of Tennessee.
  • Kentucky are 7-1 this season
  • Kentucky are 7-1-0 ATS through 8 games
  • Tennessee are 0-2-0 ATS in their last 2 games as a home betting favorite
  • The Under has cashed in 6 of Tennessee’s 8 games

Head To Head

  • Tennessee lead the all-time series 86-26-9
  • Tennessee won 56-34 when the two teams last met in October 2025

Kentucky Form

Kentucky head to Tennessee on a six-game win streak that has taken their record to 7-1.

The Wildcats opened with a 45-13 victory over Youngstown State, but failed to follow that up in their SEC opener as they fell 45-17 in Alabama.

They rebounded in impressive fashion, upsetting Texas A&M 31-21 on the road, and that proved to be the start of a six-game surge that has them in playoff contention.

Kentucky beat South Alabama 45-21 in non-conference action, before returning to SEC duty to beat South Carolina 35-34 on the road.

The Wildcats then registered another ‘signature’ victory with a 35-34 win over LSU, before beating Oklahoma 21-13 on the road and Vanderbilt 34-17 on the road.

Tennessee Form

Tennessee return from their bye week looking to issue a response to the defeat that dropped them to 6-2.

The Volunteers kicked off the campaign with three non-conference wins, beating Furman 56-9, Georgia Tech 45-24 and Kennesaw State 42-9.

They dropped their SEC opener though, as they were beaten 20-17 at home by Texas.

Tennessee rallied as they beat Auburn 24-14 and Arkansas 24-17, and they then recorded their biggest win of the season so far as they upset Alabama at home, winning 26-10.

The Volunteers were brought back down to Earth a week later though, as they suffered a 27-24 defeat at South Carolina.

Verdict

Kentucky have been the model of consistency this season, winning and covering routinely.

The Wildcats offense has been firing on all cylinders, and this unit can put some points on this tough Tennessee defense to prevent the Volunteers from running away with it.
