Cleveland Cavaliers at Oklahoma City Thunder Predictions & Picks

Oklahoma City are tipped to cover as they repeat Monday’s win over Cleveland.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is unlikely to shoot as badly as he did in that matchup, and the Thunder could be boosted by the return of Jaylin Williams.
  • Oklahoma City Thunder won by 5 points when the teams met on Monday
  • Oklahoma City Thunder are 7-1-0 in the the last 8 meetings
  • Oklahoma City Thunder are 3-0 at home this season
  • The Under cashed in Monday night’s meeting

Head To Head

  • Oklahoma City Thunder lead the all-time series 75-53
  • Oklahoma City Thunder won 117-112 when the two teams last met on November 2

Cleveland Cavaliers Form

Cleveland head to Oklahoma City looking to get revenge for Monday’s home loss to the Thunder, which dropped them to 4-3.

The Cavaliers endured a losing start to the season as they fell 114-106 in Philadelphia, but they rebounded with a three-game win streak at home.

They beat Brooklyn 125-121 to get off the mark, and followed that up by beating Minnesota 127-125 and Washington 121-111.

Cleveland’s run was ended by a 114-111 defeat in Atlanta, but they bounced back in Milwaukee with a 136-111 blowout of the Bucks.

The Cavaliers failed to make it back-to-back wins though, as they returned home for a 117-112 loss to Oklahoma City at the start of the week.

Oklahoma City Thunder Form

Oklahoma City return home having ended a two-game losing sequence with a win in Cleveland, improving their record to 5-2.

The Thunder opened with a big road win in San Antonio, downing the Spurs 116-104, and that proved to be the start of a four-game win streak.

They beat Denver 86-84 in the home opener, and backed that up with wins over Denver, 98-84, the LA Clippers, 108-101, and Phoenix, 125-114.

Oklahoma City’s perfect start was finally ended by a rough 120-96 loss in Dallas, and they then suffered another blowout defeat as they lost 119-98 in Houston.

The Thunder rebounded on Monday night though, as they beat the Cavaliers in Cleveland, 117-112.

Verdict

Oklahoma City beat Cleveland on Monday night, and now they are back home where they are a perfect 3-0 this season.

They could also be boosted by the return of Jaylin Williams, so we are backing the Thunder to do the double over the Cavaliers.
