Indiana Pacers at Miami Heat Predictions & Picks

Miami are tipped to cover as they make it back-to-back wins.

The Heat have made a sluggish start to the season, but they broke their duck in Atlanta and can follow it up against an injury-hit Pacers team missing Tyrese Haliburton.
  • Miami Heat covered in their first win of the season
  • Indiana Pacers are 1-2-0 ATS in their 3 defeats
  • The Under has cashed in 3 of Miami’s 5 games so far
  • The Under has hit in 3 of Indiana’s 5 games to date

Head To Head

  • Indiana Pacers lead the all-time series 89-77
  • Indiana Pacers won 135-118 when the two teams last met in March 2026

Indiana Pacers Form

Indiana head to Miami having suffered back-to-back defeats to slip to 2-3 on the season.

The Pacers opened with a trip to face New Orleans, and enjoyed a winning start as they beat the Pelicans 123-120.

They failed to follow that up in their home opener, losing 121-105 to Dallas, only to rebound in Brooklyn with a 136-109 blowout of the Nets.

Indiana have not won since though, starting this week with a 110-102 defeat to the Bucks in Milwaukee.

The Pacers followed that up with a 114-109 loss when they hosted Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Miami Heat Form

Miami enter this matchup having ended their winless start to the season with a victory in Atlanta.

The Heat made some blockbuster moves in the offseason, including trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo, but that did not result in some early season wins.

They opened with back-to-back defeats at home, falling 131-106 to Minnesota and 128-111 to Detroit.

Miami then went out on the road and suffered a 115-110 upset defeat to the Hornets, before heading back home for a 113-109 loss to Dallas.

The Heat finally broke their duck on Wednesday though, as they knocked off the Hawks in Atlanta, 129-117.

Verdict

Miami have underwhelmed so far, but Wednesday win over the Hawks could be the shot in the arm they needed.

They now get the benefit of facing a Pacers team that is missing Haliburton and others, so we are backing the Heat to cover as they make it back-to-back wins.
