Orlando Magic Form
Orlando head out on the road on the back of consecutive home defeats, which have dropped them to 2-5.
The Magic opened the campaign with back-to-back home games, but failed to take advantage of that as they lost 132-125 to Atlanta and 115-93 to Minnesota.
They got off the mark in their road opener, knocking off defending champions New York, 111-102, and then responded to a 129-99 blowout loss in Toronto with a 121-114 success at the Raptors.
Orlando have not won since though, recording defeats in each of their last two home games.
The Magic failed to reach the 100-point barrier as they were beaten 108-97 by Boston, and 103-94 by Washington.
Phoenix Suns Form
Phoenix enter this matchup having seen their losing skid reach four games last night, dropping them to 1-5.
The Suns began the campaign with a 124-83 road defeat to Portland, but rebounded immediately to beat Golden State at home, 131-122.
However, they failed to follow up that October 24 win, instead losing four straight games.
Phoenix were beaten 125-114 at Oklahoma City, before returning home for a 127-120 loss at the hands of Denver.
The Suns then fell to a 116-113 defeat at Golden State, before seeing their losing run reach four games with a 132-119 loss to Portland last night.
Verdict
Neither team inspires a great deal of confidence, but Orlando’s road record does make them a tempting underdog.
The Magic have already beaten two good teams on the road, and they also enter tonight’s matchup with a rest advantage, having not played since Monday.
