Callum Smith is looking to get back into the world title picture after losing his crown in 2020.
Smith established himself as one of British boxing’s best when he won the first 27 fights of his career.
Having claimed British and European titles at super-middleweight he entered the World Boxing Super Series.
The 32-year-old Liverpudlian earned decision wins over Erik Skoglund and Nieky Holzken to book his place in the final.
There Smith scored the biggest win of his professional career as he knocked out George Groves in the seventh round.
That victory earned him the WBA (Super) and Ring Magazine titles, as well as the Ali Trophy.
Smith then successfully defending the belts twice, stopping Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam inside three rounds before registering a decision win over John Ryder.
His reign came to an end in December 2020 though, as he lost a decision to pound-for-pound number one, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.
Smith made a winning return to action last year, stopping Lenin Castillo in the second round on the undercard of the first Usyk-Joshua fight.
That win took his professional record to 28-1, with 20 wins coming by way of stoppage.
Mathieu Bauderlique Form
Mathieu Bauderlique is looking to record the biggest victory of his professional career so far.
The former Olympic bronze medallist compiled a 12-0 record after turning professional in 2011.
That perfect run was brought to a halt though in June 2017, when the Frenchman was knocked out inside a round by Dragan Lepei.
Bauderlique has bounced back since though, winning each of his last nine fights.
His most recent outing came in September 2021 when he beat Igor Mikhalkin by stoppage in the seventh round.
That took his professional record to 21-1, with 12 wins coming by knockout and nine by decision.
All 22 of those fights have taken place in Bauderlique’s native France, however, so this will be his first time fighting on foreign soil.
