Los Angeles Rams Form
Los Angeles go into this matchup having got back to .500 on the season with back-to-back wins.
The Rams fell 27-7 to San Francisco in Australia on opening night, but rebounded in their real home opener as they beat the New York Giants 28-6.
They then bounced back from a 30-26 defeat in Denver with a 24-20 victory in Philadelphia, only to then lose their next two games at home.
Los Angeles were beaten 37-34 in overtime by Buffalo, and then fell 18-16 when they played host to Arizona.
The Rams rallied on the road though, winning 35-21 in Las Vegas, and they backed that up last weekend as they downed the Los Angeles Chargers, 24-9.
Washington Commanders Form
Washington come into this matchup having ended a three-game winless run with their first victory since late September.
The Commanders kicked off the campaign with back-to-back road defeats to division rivals, falling 24-22 in Philadelphia and 37-20 at Dallas.
They finally got off the mark with a 33-31 upset of Seattle in the home opener, but failed to follow that up as they lost 30-13 to Indianapolis.
Clock mismanagement then resulted in a 27-27 tie with the New York Giants, and Washington’s winless run then reached three games with a 23-17 loss at San Francisco.
The Commanders finally stopped the rot last Sunday though, as they avenged their opening-day defeat with a 27-10 victory over Philadelphia.
Verdict
Washington took down Philadelphia last weekend, but the Rams represent a step up here.
Los Angeles have kick-started their campaign over the past couple of weeks, and can keep their resurgence going in this one.
