Jake Paul has bounced back from his first career loss and has a professional record of 7-1 (4 KOs).
After winning his first two bouts against non-fighters, Paul started to fight recognized combat sports men in 2021.
‘The Problem Child’ knocked out former UFC fighter Ben Askren in the first round, and later that year he twice fought ex-UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
He won the first bout via split decision, and when the two men met again Paul was able to knock out ‘The Chosen One’ in the sixth round.
Paul then registered a points win over legendary MMA star Anderson Silva in October 2022, but he was unable to take his perfect record to 7-0.
Instead he suffered a split decision defeat to Tommy Fury after years of verbal sparring between the two men on social media.
Paul did bounce back in August though, as he claimed a unanimous decision win over long-time UFC fighter Nate Diaz.
Andre August Form
Andre August has compiled a record of 10-1-1 (5 KOs) since turning professional back in May 2013.
The 35-year-old American has spent his career fighting on minor cards throughout the United States.
In September 2018 he suffered the first defeat of his professional career as he was knocked out in the second round by Eric Abraham.
He bounced back with a knockout win against Jeremie Parks, and then beat both Jorge Garcia and Christian Solorzano vis unanimous decision.
August won his only minor title to date when he beat Santario Martin on points to win the Texas light-heavyweight title in November 2019.
He did not fight again until August of this year, when he beat Brandon Martin via unanimous decision.

I guess we could give some credit to Jake Paul for fighting a recognised boxer.
However, it is safe to assume Andre August has been carefully selected so we fully expect Paul to have his hand raised.
