They won back-to-back games against Edmonton before downing Calgary 33-6, and they then rebounded from a tie against Saskatchewan with back-to-back wins.
Ottawa ran out 31-29 winners in Calgary before returning home to take down the BC Lions, 34-27.
The Redblacks failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost the rematch with the Lions, 38-12, but they issued an immediate responses as they beat Toronto 41-27 a week ago.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats Form
Hamilton enter this matchup looking to back up a victory that ended a four-game skid and improved them to 3-9.
The Tiger-Cats made a miserable start to the 2024 regular season as they suffered five consecutive defeats to go into their first bye at 0-5.
They rallied when they returned to action, beating Toronto 27-24 and Edmonton 44-28, only to see their form nose-dive once again.
Hamilton lost back-to-back meetings with Montreal, 33-16 at home and 33-23 on the road, before losing 47-22 to Edmonton and 26-23 in Winnipeg.
The Tiger-Cats did avoid another five-game skid however, edging Toronto in a 31-28 home win last Monday.
Verdict
Ottawa are the better team in better form, and they already boast a win over Hamilton this season.
We expect to see another one here as the Redblacks remain on course for a first playoff appearance since 2018.
