Burns, who debuted in the UFC in 2014, enjoyed a six-fight win streak between December 2018 and May 2020 to earn himself a title shot.
The Brazilian came up short in his title challenge though, as he was knocked out in the third round by then-champion Kamaru Usman.

However, he has not recorded a victory since that April 2023 over ‘Gamebred’ in Miami.
The 38-year-old was beaten on points by Belal Muhammad last year, before being knocked out in the third round by Jack Della Maddalena back in March.

The 31-year-old American first beat Ismail Naurdiev by unanimous decision, and then claimed his first stoppage win in the UFC as he submitted Christian Aguilera in the second round.
Brady tapped out Jake Matthews in the third round of his first outing of 2021, and in his second fight of the year he beat Michael Chiesa on points.
His perfect record finally suffered its first blemish in 2022 when he lost his only fight of the year – a TKO loss at the hands of Belal Muhammad.
Brady did bounce back last December though, as he submitted Kelvin Gastelum in the third round.
