Memphis did win their final home game of the regular season, beating Portland 119-109.
The Grizzlies then wrapped up the regular season by sandwiching a 137-114 win in Milwaukee with a 138-131 overtime defeat in New Orleans and a 115-100 loss at Oklahoma City.
