The Kings enjoyed a four-game win streak in late January that saw them back up a home win against Atlanta with road wins at Golden State, Dallas and Memphis.
That run was halted by a 115-106 defeat in Miami, but they bounced back with a 133-122 victory in Indiana, followed by a 123-115 win at Chicago.
Sacramento dropped the next two though, losing 136-110 in Cleveland before returning home for a 133-120 defeat to Detroit.
The Kings avoided a third straight loss, upsetting Denver 135-106 at home, but they failed to back that up as they then lost 128-113 at Oklahoma City.
Phoenix Suns Form
Phoenix return home on the back of a loss, but in in good form with 12 victories in their last 14 games.
The Suns went on a seven-game win streak in January, before seeing it end with a 133-131 defeat in Indiana and a 113-98 loss at Orlando.
They rebounded on the road with a 118-105 victory over Miami, and then headed to Brooklyn to down the Nets 136-120.
Phoenix failed to make it three-in-a-row, losing 129-120 in Atlanta, but their response was a three-game win streak that saw them beat Washington 140-112, Milwaukee 114-106 and Utah 129-115.
The Suns were unable to make it four-in-a-row though, falling to a 113-112 defeat at Golden State over the weekend.
