New Orleans go into this matchup having lost two of their last three games to suffer a setback in their quest to reach the playoffs.
The Saints opened the season with back-to-back blowout wins, downing Carolina 47-10 at home and Dallas 44-19 on the road.
However, their perfect start was then halted in Week 3 by a 15-12 loss to Philadelphia, and their form collapsed from there as they went on a seven-game skid.
New Orleans finally stopped the rot in November through, as they beat Atlanta 20-17 and Cleveland 35-14 at home, but they failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 21-14 to the Los Angeles Rams.
The Saints rebounded to beat the New York Giants 14-11, only to then lose 20-19 to Washington last weekend.
Green Bay Packers Form
Green Bay are just one win away from the playoffs following last Sunday night’s victory in Seattle.
The Packers split their first four games of the season, but enjoyed a perfect October as they reeled off four consecutive victories.
That run was ended by a 24-14 loss to division rivals Detroit, but they rebounded quickly as they held on to beat Chicago 20-19 on the road.
Green Bay then backed up that victory with home wins over San Francisco, 38-10, and Miami, 30-17, before losing 34-31 in Detroit.
The Packers again responded immediately to a defeat though, this time beating the Seahawks 30-13 in Seattle.
Verdict
Green Bay are in good form and now get to host a dome team in the freezing cold under the lights.
This game is there for the taking, and we expect the Packers to beat New Orleans comfortably to cover the spread.
