They lost 37-30 to Cincinnati a week later, only to rebound immediately with a 24-17 win at Indianapolis on Monday Night Football.
Pittsburgh backed that up with a 19-16 victory at Atlanta before returning home for a 16-14 defeat to Baltimore.
The Steelers again bounced back quickly though, this time beating the Panthers 24-16 in Carolina.
They then backed up that victory with a crucial 13-10 victory when they entertained Las Vegas a week ago.

Baltimore have already secured a place in the postseason thanks to a 10-5 record, meaning they do not need to risk star QB Lamar Jackson.
The Ravens have gone 4-2 since returning from the bye week – a run that started with a 13-3 win against Carolina.
They were narrowly beaten 28-27 by Jacksonville a week later, but bounced back by winning their next two games.
The Ravens returned home to scrape past Denver 10-9, and then followed that up with a 16-14 win at Pittsburgh.
Baltimore’s run was halted by a 13-3 victory at division rivals Cleveland, but they were able to issue an immediate response.
They were able to grind out a 17-9 victory when they hosted Atlanta last time out.
