Pittsburgh head to the nation’s capital looking to extend a three-game win streak that has improved their record to 6-2.
The Steelers opened the campaign with three consecutive wins, starting with road victories over Atlanta, 18-10, and Denver, 13-6.
They then beat Los Angeles Chargers 20-10 in their home opener, before seeing their perfect start end with a 27-24 defeat in Indianapolis.
Pittsburgh then returned home for a 20-17 defeat to Dallas, but they have not tasted defeats since then.
The Steelers rebounded with a 32-13 victory in Las Vegas, and backed that up at home as they beat the New York Jets, 37-15, and the New York Giants, 26-18.
Washington Commanders Form
Washington also enter this matchup having won their previous three games, but with a slightly better record at 7-2.
The Commanders made a losing start to the season as they were beaten 37-20 at Tampa Bay, but they responded with a four-game streak that started with a 21-18 win over the New York Giants.
They then beat Cincinnati 38-33 and Arizona 42-14 on the road, before returning home to down Cleveland 34-13.
Washington’s surge was halted by a 30-23 defeat in Baltimore, only for them to hit back immediately with a 40-7 blowout of Carolina.
The Commanders then backed that up with a dramatic 18-15 win over Chicago, before heading to New York to down the Giants, 27-22.

Washington have been impressive and have established themselves as a contender.
