Boston head to Dallas having made an outstanding start to the season with nine wins from 11 games.
The Bruins opened with back-to-back home wins, beating Chicago 3-1 before downing Nashville 3-2.
They then won four straight games on the road, beating San Jose 3-1, Los Angeles 4-2, Anaheim 3-1 and Chicago 3-0, before seeing their perfect start end with a 4-3 overtime loss to Anaheim.
Boston rebounded to beat Detroit 4-1, and then followed that up with a 3-2 overtime victory over Florida and a shootout success against Toronto.
The Bruins failed to make it four wins in a row though, losing 5-4 in Detroit on Saturday night.
Dallas Stars Form
Dallas come into this matchup on the back of a loss, but they have made a strong start with seven wins in 10 games.
The Stars began the campaign with a shootout victory at home to St Louis, only to then lose a shootout at defending champions Vegas.
They rebounded quickly to beat Anaheim 3-2 on the road, before beating Philadelphia 5-4 in overtime at home and Pittsburgh 4-1 on their travels.
Dallas then bounced back from a 4-1 loss to Toronto with three straight wins, beating Columbus 5-3, Calgary 4-3 and Edmonton 4-3.
The Stars could not make it four consecutive wins though, suffering a 2-0 shutout loss in Vancouver at the weekend.
Verdict
This is a tough one to call, but Dallas have made a strong start and are a solid pick at home so we are leaning towards them in a low-scoring encounter.
