Florida then went out on the road to win 4-3 in overtime in Washington, before returning home to beat Carolina 5-2.
The Panthers then avenged that previous loss to Chicago, beating the Blackhawks 5-3, and then took their streak to five games with a 5-3 victory in San Jose.
Los Angeles Kings Form
Los Angeles go into this game looking to bounce back from a couple of losses that have left them 8-3-3.
The Kings ended October with a 4-1 victory in Toronto, and that kicked off their best run of form so far this season.
They followed up that victory with a 3-2 success in Ottawa, and then travelled to Philadelphia for a 5-0 victory.
Los Angeles made it four wins in a row as they recorded their biggest win of the season to date, beating defending champions Vegas 4-1 on the road, but they have not won since.
The Kings were brought back down to Earth when they returned home though, losing 4-3 to Pittsburgh in overtime before falling 4-2 to Philadelphia in regulation.
