Vegas then returned home to beat San Jose via a shootout and Calgary 5-4 in overtime, before seeing their win streak end via a 5-2 defeat to Buffalo.
The Golden Knights responded with a 6-3 win over Ottawa, only to fall to a 6-3 defeat when they visited Carolina on Tuesday night.

The Lightning concluded their five-game road trip with a 4-2 defeat in Carolina, but they did bounce back in their return home, beating St Louis 6-1 on Tuesday.
