The Vancouver Whitecaps have a chance to save their season this week, but they will have to be far better in their second meeting with LAFC after they were humbled in a 5-2 defeat on the road.
While the Whitecaps saw almost half of the ball in the game, they could only notch eight shots with two hitting the target. While they were clinical, scoring with their two shots on target, they allowed LAFC far too many chances, with their hosts taking 19 shots.
This week, the Whitecaps have to be clinical going forward and strong at the back. One slip could be the difference between this clash going to a deciding game and Vancouver watching the rest of the playoffs from the sideline.

LAFC were irresistible last week as they hammered their opponents to take a real stranglehold on the tie.
While they are only 1-0 up in the series, the psychological impact of their 5-2 win on both sides will be huge heading into this one. If the away team can score the first goal then it could see the heads of the Whitecaps go down, resulting in a one-sided clash.
While LAFC are on the road in this one, we are backing them to make it five without defeat in the MLS.
