Tennis Picks & Predictions

Our tennis picks come from the expert team at the ExpertPicks desk.

In tennis, the surface comes first. A player who's dangerous on grass can be ordinary on clay. We look at form on that surface, serve and return numbers, how each player matches up, and how much tennis they've played that week. Fatigue and travel decide a lot of matches early in a tournament.

Players retire hurt more often than in other sports, and sportsbooks settle those bets in different ways. Check your book's rules before you bet.

Moneyline - Pick the match winner.

Game spread - A spread on games, not sets. A player at -3.5 games must win at least four more games than the opponent across the whole match.

Total games - Bet on whether the total number of games in the match goes over or under the line, for example 22.5.

Set betting - Pick the exact score in sets, for example 2-0 or 2-1 in a best-of-three match.

Futures - Bets on who wins a tournament, often available before the draw is made.
